About the Travel Grant
The Clamshell Travel Grant provides funding to support clinicians presenting work related to the Bristol Clamshell Thoracotomy Course. Bursaries of £250 and £500 are available to assist with travel and conference attendance in the UK or internationally. Applicants should submit a 500-word personal statement via our portal outlining their project, the conference or event they will attend, and how their work aligns with the aims of the Bristol Clamshell Thoracotomy Project. The scheme aims to support professional development, encourage collaboration, and promote the dissemination of innovative practice and research within the trauma and emergency care community.
